Engine Details
Two engines are available in the 2021 Nissan Altima here at Hudson Nissan of Charleston, a 2.0 and a 2.5. The 2.0 liter turbocharged engine is available for the SR trim and can generate 248 hp of power. Compared to this, the other 2.5 liter engine is responsible for belting out 188 hp of power. Both engines have been mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
AWD (All Wheel Drive) is available for the 2.5, with this making it the only family sedan with off-road abilities. In its segment, the Altima competes against the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camry.
The car will certainly accelerate faster with the 2.5 liter powertrain. The SR trim is available with a sport tuned suspension and 19-inch wheels. Therefore, the 2021 Nissan Altima will deliver a smooth ride free from shudders on bad roads.
